Spiral Path Front Garden in Cambridge
Work on the garden started in spring 2019, a few hours each week. 
After clearing the site of overgrown dogwood, plastic, old tree stumps, a huge number or sumac tree roots and other bits of garden waste, the fence was repaired and the design for the spiral path was started. 
The garden was finished in early July, with geranium and lupins in flower and many other plants including white hydrangeas that will grow and take their space in the coming years. Between the paving slabs and the spiral path irish moss was planted, which has lawn-like qualities but doesn’t need cutting.
The design brief: A low-maintenance garden with hydrangeas and a spiral path.
There was only a small budget which was spent on the path and other materials. All plants were cuttings and spare seedlings from mainly our own garden and some other people.

Cambridge Family garden for relaxing and growing fruit & veg
Design brief: This back garden for a family with primary school aged children was designed to have many functions.
Work started in November 2018 and was finished in October 2019.
